The Old Homestead

One of Wombwell’s distinctive buildings. The painting is by Kathleen Hall who used to live there, alongside a modern photo taken from a slightly different aspect.
Kathleen says “I’ve recently finished This painting taken from an old photo of ‘The Old Homestead’. I lived in the second house from left, very creepy and eerie. There is a running stream in the cellar that runs through all four houses. The left one is 5 bedrooms two middle are 4 bedrooms and end right is 7 bedrooms
